Paring Knife

Bread Knife

The difference is, though, that a santoku knife has a shorter and usually wider blade. The blade also features honed indentations, which are designed to prevent food from sticking to the blade as it slices through food.

Boning Knife

A boning knife is used to remove bones from meat when you want to preserve the shape and structure of the meat. Boning knifes have very narrow blades, which are sometimes curved. The curvature of the blade helps the cook to follow the curvature of the bone structure in the meat.
