My dad grew up in a family with five sisters and two brothers. I have more aunts, uncles, and cousins on my dad’s side of the family than I can remember. Once every year, this large extended family reminisces about the past and reconnects with each other at a family reunion. Normally, this event is held in the activities building of a local church. Everyone is expected to bring food to contribute to the potluck meal at the reunion. Unfortunately, I feel that many family members skip the gathering because they don’t want to cook.
